Robocat Stops Crime

What Happened?

Robocat saw that the turnips were gone from the garden. Robocat got an idea to watch the garden all night and see if the crooks would come. He saw Patch Rabbit and the Hoppers and they were the ones stealing the vegtables. Robocat puts them in the chicken coop because they were guilty of stealing.

Patch Rabbit was mad when he was put in the chicken coop. Putting them in the chicken coop helped them learn their lesson that stealing is not the right thing to do. Maybe they could have asked if they wanted carrots and the turnips. Patch Rabbit probably wouldn't do that because he is a bad guy.

Questions:

1. Nic wants to know what happened to Patch Rabbit's right eye? Maybe he got into an accident and his eye was burned and needed an eye patch to cover the scars.
2.
How did Patch Rabbit and the Hoppers know each other? How did they first start working together?

Alexander continued...

The lizard changed Willy into a real mouse. Now Alexander and Willy are both real mice. They danced in the backyard together happily.

Alexander and the Wind-Up Mouse

Alexander is a real mouse and he meets a wind-up mouse named Willy. Alexander is confused because he never saw a wind-up mouse before. I get confused sometimes when I see a toy I have never seen before. (Joshua). When we come into our classroom and Miss End has changed the furniture, we sometimes get confused. (Nicolas).


Alexander felt envy for Willy because he wanted to be a wind-up mouse too. He wanted people to think he was cute and cuddly too. I understand what Alexander feels because I have felt that way when my brother gets something for Christmas that I didn't and I really wanted it. (Joshua). I feel jealous too when my brother gets a movie that I want. (Nicolas).

Alexander wants to be a wind-up mouse, so he runs back to the house to find the magic lizard. We think the lizard will be able to change Alexander into a wind-up mouse. Let's see.
